TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
